W Michael Galvin

I was born in Buffalo, NY.

My mother was a housewife and my dad worked for Autolite as a corporate salesman.

Our car was a Ford Galaxie 500.

My dad was an Air Force pilot in WWII, and was one of the first to fly over Hiroshima after they dropped the "A" Bomb.

We moved around a lot as kids. I spent a great deal of time in New Haven, CT. We would take the train into NYC and go to Radio City Music Hall. Back then you could smoke cigarettes in the theatres and my dad would go through a pack of Kents watching a show. Later, I mostly lived in the Midwest and raised 2 children there. 

My son and his friend, David Chappelle, wanted to be stand-up comedians. We would sit around together and dream up jokes. It was a welcome relief away from my day job as an ad man. 

David got a Disney contract at 16. And he and my son both still live in the same small town where they grew up in. My son owns an art shop and ad agency there.

I owned my own digital ad agency for years. We serviced many Fortune 500 companies in the area of branding, Web, social media and digital strategies. We did a lot of incredible things: video, mobile apps, email marketing, you name it. Plus. we had a blast doing it.

I now live in Denver. I had a home for years there, but just visited it occasionally. I now enjoy bike riding, the mountain trails and the great outdoors.

But being the way I am, I still stay busy. Welcome!
